FUNCTIONAL ANATOMY AND BIOMECHANICS FOR OSTEOPATHS I
SPINE AND TRUNK (FAB I)
In order to determine which spinal structure(s) may be involved when normal function is compromised, it is crucial for an osteopath to have a solid understanding of the functional anatomy of the spine and the difference between the design and function of each segment in relation to the spinal motion. The objective of this course is to further advance your understanding of the movement patterns of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar-sacral spine, including muscles, ligaments, neurovascular supply, and special features of each region.
